DISC WORKSHOPS AND FACILITATION

From behavioural insight to lasting team impact

Practical, tailored development programs that help teams improve communication, strengthen collaboration and turn self-awareness into better ways of working.

DISC Academy is an Official Discflow Partner, authorised to deliver Discflow’s behavioural assessment and development tools. Discflow combines DISC behavioural styles with Emotional intelligence to help people and teams communicate, lead and work together more effectively.

Increase Team Engagement with a DISC Workshop

Team member engagement is one of the biggest drivers of high performance. When people do not feel understood, included or valued, engagement drops and performance follows. This is especially true in distributed or fast-changing teams where leaders are working harder than ever to keep people connected.

At DISC Academy, we design and facilitate DISC workshops and programs that go beyond the assessment. Before we design anything, we start with a conversation. We ask: what are the behavioural and team challenges you are experiencing right now? What is the learning goal? What would you like your participants to walk away with? And what do you want them to do differently at work after the session ends?

With those answers, we build a learning experience — face to face, live online or hybrid — tailored to your people, your team and your real challenges. The DISC report insights provide the foundation. The design and facilitation bring the change.

DISC WORKSHOPS

How It Works

01

Prepare

We work with you to understand your team’s challenges and learning goals. Participants receive pre-workshop communications and context so they arrive ready to engage, not just informed.

02

Assess

Team members complete their Discflow DISC and Emotional Intelligence assessment online. Each person receives their individual personalised report giving practical insight into their behavioural style, communication preferences and motivations.

03

Facilitate

The reports come to life through our expert designed and facilitated workshops. Virtual, in person or hybrid, every session uses a blended learning approach with practical activities tailored to your team’s real dynamics.

04

Apply

People leave with a shared language, practical tools and specific commitments they can apply straight away, and they keep coming back to their report long after the session ends.

WORKSHOP TOPICS

Built around your team's real challenges

We do not deliver generic DISC workshops. Each session is built around the specific behavioural and team challenges your organisation is navigating. Here are some of the most common themes we design and facilitate around.

Psychological Safety

Create the conditions that help people speak up, take risks and bring their best thinking to work without fear of judgement.

Managing Conflict

Discover the triggers, patterns and styles behind workplace conflict and leave with practical tools to navigate disagreement more constructively.

Communication and Collaboration

Master the art of adapting your communication in real time so every conversation lands better regardless of who is in the room.

Trust and Deeper Connection

Find what builds and erodes trust across different behavioural styles and strengthen the relationships that your team's performance depends on.

Giving and Receiving Feedback

Use the language and frameworks that make feedback easier to give, easier to receive and more likely to create lasting change.

Cross-collaboration and Influencing Stakeholders

Develop the ability to read the room, adapt your approach and bring people with you, even when their priorities and styles differ from yours.

Negotiation and Winning Deals

Learn how behavioural style shapes negotiation dynamics and leave with sharper strategies for reading people and achieving better outcomes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which reports will you use for the DISC Workshop?

We select the report that best suits the overall learning goal of your workshop. For most team sessions we recommend the Core 2.0 report which combines DISC and Emotional Intelligence, or the Portrait 2.0 for shorter or wider rollouts. For leadership programs we often use Leader 2.0. We will guide you to the right choice during our initial conversation. You can see all available reports on our DISC Reports page.

Yes. We facilitate face to face across Australia’s capital cities and virtually via Zoom for teams anywhere in Australia, New Zealand and beyond. We also offer hybrid delivery where part of the team is in the room and others join online.

We do not organise the venue or catering directly, but we will provide a detailed facilitation brief including room setup, AV requirements and recommended participant numbers so your team can prepare everything needed for a great session.

Yes. Participants receive their individual report before the session so they have time to read it and reflect. This makes the workshop conversation richer and more personal.

We recommend sending the assessment link at least two weeks before the workshop and sharing reports five to seven days before the session. This gives participants enough time to complete the assessment without leaving it too close to the day.

Sessions range from a two-hour introduction through to a full-day program, depending on your learning goals and group size. Multi-session programs are also available for teams wanting to go deeper over time. We will recommend a format based on your goals in our initial conversation.

Yes, and that is exactly how we work. Every workshop is built around the specific challenges and goals you share with us before we design anything. Your industry, team size, culture and current dynamics all shape what we create.
